Why Is The Payment Due Up Front?
Over the years, I have acquired numerous clock movements that I received by mail to be repaired. After completing the repair work and sending notice that the payment was due, the clients backed out of the deal for one reason or another and I didn't get paid for my work. Requiring the payment up front has eliminated this problem.

Why Are My Prices So Low?
I am often asked why my repair prices are so low compared to their local clock shop. First of all, I work out of my home. I don't have a shop in a strip mall somewhere where I have to pay rent and another set of bills to maintain it. This alone gives me an advantage and allows me to keep my prices down. Also, if you live in a larger city, the cost of living will be higher than it is in my area.
Do I Sell Clock Parts?
No. I Am Sorry, I Do -NOT- Sell Parts.
Can I Send You My Entire Clock?
I would rather you send me your clock movement only. It is much easier and safer to mail a clock movement than the entire clock. Should you need assistance removing your clock movement from it's case, or reinstalling it after it has been repaired, I can walk you through the process over the phone.
New Movement -vs- Rebuilding My Movement?
No matter how old or new your clock is, it is always better to keep it's original movement. Whether it is an antique, vintage, or modern clock, your clock will always be more valuable if it has it's original movement.
How Long Will My Rebuilt Movement Last?
My Rebuilt Movements Tend To Last Around Eight To Ten Years. With proper maintenance, such as having the clock movement cleaned and oiled every few years, can extend the lifespan of the clock movement. And yes, down the road, when your clock wears out again, it can be rebuilt again.
